Every tree. Every dollar. Audited.
GFI publishes all planting records, survival audit results, and financial summaries publicly. If a tree was planted, it has a GPS coordinate. If a site was audited, the report is available here.
Independent monitoring, reporting & verification.
π GPS Planting Records
Every tree is registered in the National Forest Information System with GPS coordinates, species, date, and FUG planting team ID. Accessible via QR code on certificates.
πΈ Photo Documentation
Timestamped field photos taken at planting, year 1, and year 3 audit stages. Photos are geotagged and linked to the GPS planting record.
π Independent Auditors
Year 1 and Year 3 survival audits are conducted by independent MRV teams separate from GFI field operations. Results are publicly published regardless of outcome.
π Satellite Cross-Check
For larger plantings, satellite imagery cross-checks ground-level audit results. Used for shelterbelt and corporate grove tiers.
π Public Audit Reports
All audit reports are published publicly on this site and on the Verra registry. No result is suppressed. Auto-replanting is triggered automatically on failing sites.
π‘οΈ Auto-Replant Guarantee
If any site falls below β₯70% survival at Year 3, GFI triggers replanting from the reserve fund within 60 days. Donors are notified by email.
Where every tugrik goes.
FUG payments are split into three tranches: 60% at verified planting day, 25% at Year 1 survival checkpoint, and 15% after Year 1 MRV audit. This milestone structure incentivizes long-term tree care over one-time planting.
